Peak Design’s quick-connect system changes how easily the optic can be carried, adjusted, connected and removed throughout the day. Compact Anchors remain attached to the binocular, allowing the strap to be attached or removed in seconds and detached for tripod use.
Built around premium Japanese ED glass, EDX brings together carefully selected optical elements, advanced broadband lens coatings and phase-corrected dielectric prisms, in an APO design pairing dual ED glass in the objective with dual lanthanum glass in the eyepiece. Extra-low Dispersion glass helps reduce unwanted colour dispersion, maintaining clean, natural colour around high-contrast subjects.
The result is an exceptionally clean and natural image, with outstanding centre resolution and impressive sharpness extending towards the edges. As the sun drops below the horizon, up to 94% light transmission allows the remaining ambient light to continue working for you, while the nitrogen filled, waterproof magnesium alloy chassis, twist-up eyecups, internal focusing and WeatherShield hydrophobic lens coatings are built for the field.
