super clear glass and reticle, illumination could be clearer but for the price you pay, it’s hard to expect much more
I bought this scope to give the brand a go and to use it for a dedicated scope on a Howa SS 243 to which I attach a good thermal clip-on. This combination will be expected to take the bumps, dust and hits of use chasing the feral dogs on out cattle and deer stud. A low power is needed for a clip-on, and the 3.5-10x it had was a great field scope but had too-high a lower limit for the clip-on.
I am super surprised and pleased by the clarity I can get from this scope. We run 1-8x Swaros on our farm cull rifles for speed and this scope is just as viable an alternative and very affordable.
We don’t care about stuff like Mils or FFP, we want a tough, fast scope for saving us animal welfare issues and income/stock losses. It seems nowadays that it’s all about range shooters and stuff for us is very uninspiring so great to see this line of scopes. The flip-up covers are awesome and should be offered with all your scopes. Bikini covers are useless to us. In fact we will buy a brand that offers these features over those that do not.
I am playing with the idea of a 1-10x Vengeance (no flip up covers offered?) or Trace if this one is up to the job in the future.
