This is our second one, however this one has quite a bit of “ghosting” around the green dot at day or night, worst during daylight when it needs to be brighter. It’s difficult to actually make out the centre of the dot. This is strange, because the first one we bout maybe four months before this one, does not do this and the dot is crisp.
Great product for the price, be nice to have other dot sizes available, otherwise will definitely buy again.
Because this was for a shotgun, I would also like to see in GREEN a donut style large, fast reticle, not just a dot. Green is more preferable and faster in light conditions, and is only available in the older red which is confusing in the colours we see everywhere on our cattle and deer stud. Shake awake is a good feature, as would be an immediate auto on/off when tipped up or down, as in our Swarovski Z8 scopes on farm rifles. This always signifies “not in use”.
Awesome addition to any rifle. Has made target acquisition so much easier now on my PRS rifles. The green dot works so well and is easy to see and as someone who suffers from astigmatism it doesn’t blur the way red does.
