I have added a Thrive HD on my 308 Miroku LR. We hunt pigs in tight country shots are generally take between 2m and 80m more often with the pig on the run. The attached photo, pig broke from cover run directly across in front 1 shot 40m. The red dot and circle allowed me to place one shot in the boiler room.
