ZeroTech Precision is proud to celebrate the inaugural season of our ZeroTech IPSC Handgun Team. Five dedicated shooters representing three Australian states and competing with the support of ZeroTech’s flagship competition optics, including the Thrive HD and H.A.L.O.red-dot sights.
In 2025, the team delivered outstanding performances across the Australian national IPSC circuit, showcasing not only their individual skill but also the reliability and competitive edge of ZeroTech Precision optics, strengthening ZeroTech’s presence across multiple regions and competitions.

These five shooters formed ZeroTech’s first official IPSC Handgun squad, proudly flying the ZeroTech colours at the NSW, QLD and VIC State Championships, as well as the Australian National Handgun Championships and many more matches throughout the country.
At the Australian National Handgun Championships in Townsville, the ZeroTech team produced a series of standout results:
Jordan Haskins delivered a strong performance in Production Optics, finishing 10th Overall and 8th in Masters Grade. Jeff Cummings continued his upward trajectory, securing 2nd in B Grade Production Optics, Jay Sikora showcased consistency and precision to place 13th in A Grade Production Optics, rounding out an impressive national campaign.
Meanwhile, Kade Tripp took out 5th and 3rd in the new Optics division at the SA and NSW State Titles respectively. Tyronne Vorst continued to build momentum throughout the year, earning a series of successes at local and state-level competitions.
Beyond Handgun the season also saw Jeff Cummings extend his competitive reach beyond handgun events. Equipped with ZeroTech optics, he stretched his legs in IPSC Rifle and Shotgun competitions, demonstrating both versatility as a shooter and the adaptability of ZeroTech equipment across multiple shooting disciplines.
The team also made their mark at the Outpost Gunshop Masters of Arms MOA competition, one of Australia’s premier multi-discipline shooting events. Jeff Cummings delivered another impressive result, finishing 4th Overall against a highly competitive field. Kade Tripp added to his list of achievements by taking home the Percy Brooks Award for the second time solidifying his reputation as a standout sportsman.
The inaugural ZeroTech Precision IPSC Handgun Team has set a high benchmark for performance, professionalism, and sportsmanship. Their efforts throughout the year have highlighted ZeroTech’s commitment to supporting competitive shooting in Australia and delivering high-quality optics trusted by athletes at every level.
With a season of national-level experience now behind them, the team heads into the next year more motivated than ever and ZeroTech is proud to stand behind them as they continue to push the limits of precision shooting.
